Study Abroad Application Process

Before you apply

  • Explore our partner universities
  • Read our student testimonials

Apply to be nominated

Once you are nominated

  • Work with the International Office to apply to the partner university of your choice
  • Complete the Outgoing Undergraduate Student Exchange Permission Form, and submit it to the Registrar’s Office at Registrar@concordia.ab.ca, along with course syllabi.
  • Complete the Health Coverage Waiver Form (if you have opted out of the Concordia Students’ Association’s Health and Dental Plan)

Before you go

  • Register as a continuing student by completing the Permission Form – EXST 2XX.
  • Complete the Off-Campus Travel Authorization Form
  • Attend a mandatory pre-departure orientation session

Upon your return

  • Attend a mandatory return orientation session
  • Request your formal transcript from your hosting institution. The official transcript should be sent from your hosting institution’s Registrar’s Office to °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²ÊÂÛ̳’s Registrar’s Office at Registrar@concordia.ab.ca. The International Office does not accept transcripts.
